10 year old female. Retained upper primary laterals and cuspids. Permanent cuspids and laterals ectopic. Maxillary and mandibular labial frenums are high and impinging on attachment zones of central incisors (upper is severe).

Treatment plan:
  • Rapid Palatal Expander
  • Lower Schwartz appliance
  • Extract upper primary laterals and cuspids
  • Bond attachment to upper laterals
  • Frenectomies at same time
  • Brackets on upper centrals
  • Extrude laterals with chain or elastic thread
  • Bracket laterals and torque roots facially
  • Allow for eruption of upper cuspids uncover as needed
  • Future comprehensive ortho
