Endodontics

Endodontics relies on the power of diagnostic imaging and image-guided treatment, but traditional two-dimensional diagnostic imaging introduces distortion and overlapping of anatomy that compromises the clinician's ability to accurately visualize the area. Anatomical variations are the norm and are often impossible to visualize with traditional imaging methods. High-resolution CBCT technology eliminates guesswork and enables precisely accurate 3-D visualization of odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions, canal morphology, root and alveolar fractures, resorptive lesions and anatomies prior to surgery. CBCT delivers a lower radiation dose to the patient than medical CT and permits more accurate treatment planning decisions and surgical procedures than 2-D imaging.
